What is Adobe Connect?

Adobe Connect is a web conferencing platform that provides standard features like video, audio, screen-sharing, polls, chat, Q&A, and document transfers, as well as the ability for users to create presentations, online training materials, and learning modules.

The product is entirely Adobe Flash-based and has several add-ons for customizing its software to suit each users’ unique needs. Some extensions that are available include, but are not limited to, Closed Captioning support, Word Cloud (for visualizing live discussions), and MP3 player for adding music to users’ meeting rooms.

Users can create or style their own meeting room layouts which can be saved. They can also add multiple chat pods, polls, quizzes, simulations, breakout rooms, HD video, and games to make meetings and online conferencing more interactive. Additionally, Adobe Connect allows for presenters and hosts to utilize a “virtual backstage” to chat and collaborate outside of the main meeting or conference. It also allows for users to go into a “preparation mode” to make adjustments right before or during a session.

Pricing for Adobe Connect Meetings ranges from $50/mo up to $370/mo. Additional webinar capabilities through Adobe Connect Webinar ranges $140/mo to $580/mo, from a webinar with 100 participants to one with up to 1000 participants.

I have used Adobe Connect to host webinars for training programs we provide. We have always offered webinars for training, but COVID caused us to shift everything on-line for a season. Connect has allowed us to provide training to a large number of people all at one time without having to travel when were not able to do so.
  • I like how Connect's pods are clearly separated on the screen so webinar attendees have everything broken out nicely for them to see.
  • Connect allows us to easily mute and unmute individuals by looking at that pod where a bunch of names are displayed.
  • Connect allows us to be able to upload all materials (Power Points, other documents, etc) before the webinar and then pull them up as needed during the webinar. It also allowed us to do other things on our computer when hosting a webinar. Some other webinar platforms "take over" your computer and limits being able to multi-task.
  • At our organization we ended up having to connect a separate phone/audio line that allowed people the option of listening by phone. We don't need to do that with Zoom.
  • Uploading files seemed to take a decent amount of time using Connect, which meant we needed to start preparing for webinars sooner than what we wanted to.
  • Connect seemed to freeze up quite a bit on us while we have not had that issue when using Zoom as much.
I think overall I felt very comfortable using Connect. Web accessibility is of utmost importance to my organization and we were able to hire live captioners and then connected to a captioning to provide the service with no issues for the most part.

As far as getting people used to using Connect for attending webinars, we often had to provide a tech intro. I think, part of this is because people are not as familiar with it compared with Zoom. Zoom's layout is more common for people and I think they feel comfortable with it more.

When providing live and on-demand training sessions for our business partners, utilizing Adobe Connect has made all the difference in being able to create a virtually engaging learning environment that allows both facilitators and participants to exercise creativity during the learning and development process. Other platforms commonly used in our and other organizations work well for meetings, but Adobe Connect allows us as facilitators to create that in-person feel and have the same level of engagement and collaboration that so often seems to be absent from virtual spaces.
  • Love how you can create custom layouts ahead of time and seamlessly change from one to another during a session.
  • There are so many creative ways to use the whiteboard features.
  • Being able to keep participants in one layout while you go into other layouts and make changes, updates, etc. has been incredibly helpful.
  • The breakout rooms have endless use cases.
  • I wish Adobe provided the audio directly to the customer rather than requiring an outside telecom provider be selected if you want audio beyond VOIP.
  • It's nice to be able to upload PPT presentations into a share pod, but if the PPT is more than basic, I find several animations, fonts, etc. are not supported, completely changing the way the presentation comes across. This makes it impossible for me to utilize the feature most of the time and a screen share is the next best option.
If Adobe Connect is utilized internally at an organization, it would be an excellent way to get people comfortable and familiar with all of the tools built into the system. We utilize with external clients and have found a few challenges we have been able to overcome, but challenges none the less. We find accessing Adobe Connect through the application provides the best experience, but many outside clients will not allow the application to be downloaded immediately. So many of our participants attend through the browser version and can run into bandwidth issues.

Adobe Connect was used to facilitate virtual leadership development & coaching classes. We were in search of a more expansive & immersive virtual classroom as much of our curriculum transitioned to a virtual format during the pandemic. We were looking for a platform which had features beyond our standard Microsoft Teams meetings.
  • Allowed upload of course materials.
  • Customization of classrooms for various courses.
  • Ability to save classroom set-ups for future use.
  • The audio connection did not allow for various call-in options (mixed dial-in & computer broke breakout rooms)
  • Videos lagged for users & often froze so, it was determined the issue was not on our end but Adobe Connect's
  • Required additional set-up time for users pre-session; we often had to connect with users one on one to complete this.
Adobe Connect is a great fit for facilitated sessions which have multiple features (video, slide deck, breakout rooms, job aids to upload, etc). We did not find it to be any better that Microsoft Teams or Zoom for smaller meetings.

Adobe Connect is used to deliver technical and leadership training programs created by our team.
  • Virtual platform for communication
  • Interactive features
  • Layouts Setups
  • AV stability
  • Higher number of participants in basic license
Training small batches. During large batches, we need a lite version with fewer features that is easy to use for trainers.

I use Adobe Connect to participate in Adobe webinars. It is very easy to use, and I have never had connectivity issues. I have had to use other platforms with other companies in the Learning Development industry and have found some to be very difficult to navigate and often will not connect or be accepted by my company's firewall. I have never experienced that with Adobe Connect.
  • Easy to use
  • Compatible with other company networks
  • No connectivity issues
  • I have not experienced any issues
I have had no issues using Adobe Connect. I gave Adobe an 8 because I have not had enough exposure to give it the full 10. My company uses Teams.

We mainly use it for morning meeting in our organization. We also use it sometimes for presentations and team meeting but it's not our primary app to use for that purpose. As it supports most of the devices from Windows to IOS, people attending the afternoon informal meeting finds it easier because this app is compatible to their device. This has increased the attendance in our afternoon catch up session.
  • viewers side screen layout can be controlled
  • Host control is awsome
  • Customisation and doodling
  • well sometimes the video buffers and its not due to the interne quality
  • Often time its gets stuck midway and have to restart it
  • UI is tough for beginner
Well suited
-webinar
-presentation
-team meetings
less appropriate scenarios
-It lacks some functionality in its white board so we don't use it where we need to be creative
-In important conference call in order to prevent from lagging or some technical glitch

This program is being used by our company for training purposes
  • I love the fact that you can do screen sharing with this program so that we can see what our trainer is seeing on their computer screen.
  • I like the features such as raising hands and you know thumbs up thumbs down applaud laugh step away because I use all of those in the training classes that I've been with my company. We use the raised hand function in order to ask questions so if anybody in our training class has a question we just click on the raise hand option. And whenever we go on break we use the step away function.
  • I like the fact that it has the function to not only use a microphone but also a camera so that when we come up to answer questions in our training class we go on camera as well as Mike and people get a chance to see who we are and that we're real people and actually hear our voices.
  • One of the issues that I am constantly having with Adobe connect is connection issues with my company I use a lot of programs and they all require access to our VPN and a hardwired internet connection. Because our company has gone into the settings of our all-in-one computers and deactivated the functionality of being able to use wi-fi. I'm able to use the internet with no problem on my computer. I'm able to use all of the programs without any connection issues whatsoever accessing the VPN for our company but Adobe connect is constantly dropping in connection status. There's an icon in the upper left-hand corner that shows us out of four bars what are connection is at and I am constantly dropping between four green bars down to two orange bars. So the connectivity issues are a constant issue with Adobe connect.
The connection issue is a big thing for me because my trainer who is talking to us is constantly cutting out and I'm missing so much information that they're giving us during their training classes.

We have a large team of individuals that manage content for our large website. Prior to the pandemic, we would conduct in-person training sessions. Obviously, this was not possible recently. We have used Adobe Connect to conduct online training sessions for our staff instead of conducting in-person training. This has worked very well for us and we have received great feedback from our users.
  • Ability to conduct online training sessions.
  • Ability for users to connect from any location.
  • Ability to record.
  • It is fairly expensive.
  • More online tutorials for admins.
We have found Adobe Connect to be highly effective in situations where we need to provide training to users in a remote environment. We used to do in-person training, but the ability to host these sessions online has been a lifesaver, allowing us to continue normal operations during these challenging times.

Our worldwide sales and marketing department uses this great tool. It is a great communication tool with many working capabilities. Adobe Connect supports meetings, training, and seminars. putting together national and international sales representatives is not really easy. We use this app to stay in touch and communicate with each other. Our sales staff benefit from the software since it motivates them.
  • It's a quick method to exchange files, file, documents, and videos from a web app. Real-time conversation, and screen-sharing are all supported. It has a highly user-friendly interface. It is really simple to assist the teams.
  • Even team engagements is beneficial since it allows them to share their expertise with others, and the big benefit is the security of the rooms' access is fairly simple to manage.
  • The interface, which include features like notes, chat, pods, etc. When we're trying to gather rapid and exact information, simplify our work as much as possible.
  • Adobe Connect's features since they allow team members to express their ideas during meetings without causing disruptions, thereby bypassing the current international boundary of distance.
  • The recording options don't always function.
  • When sharing media, files saved on the server may fail to upload.
  • The internet load might cause connectivity issues, causing individuals or the entire session to fail.
It is a great resource for evaluating, refining, and combining abilities and essential experiences in the growth of the sales team training; It is productive and lucrative in terms of distance knowledge transfer, and it reduces employee training financing and expenditures. I really like the ability to collaborate as a group on a huge research project even when we are not in the same country.

It has provided me a perfect platform where I can have easy discussions and easily I can share the computer screens with our team members. I also like its mobile application which has allowed my team members to ensure smooth operation of our working. It has amazing and well-developed functionalities for online video conferencing.
  • Adobe Connect is a very effective tool, which is built on pod systems, where each pod performs a specific task. I have found it very effective for having meetings with my clients. It has covered all the distances and within few seconds it helps me to get connected.
  • I like its interface which is very appealing because of its simplicity. Now, I never schedule any visits but use Adobe connect for showing the product description.
  • Adobe Connect is helping me a lot to have meetings and sessions, across the world I can easily stay in touch with my foreign clients.
  • Sometimes the system gets slow during the long-running of the application and we have to shut down the application, which consumes our time.
  • Adobe Connect is a costly solution and its installation is not very easy.
  • We also faced some issue during its purchasing to this needs an urgent attention.
I am having a satisfying experience with Adobe Connect. On the basis of its functionality, I will recommend it to all organizations. But I will also suggest you have some experience with its free trial. It will give you a good knowledge about your requirements so that It will also become easy for you to invest.

Since most of the office went virtual in 2020, we had been using Adobe Connect for many of our meetings in addition to webinars. There were a lot of tools that gave us a lot of flexibility. For example, there was the option to go into breakout rooms or have a Q&A. This helped to provide a cohesive discussion and helped us to connect with the team easier.
  • Ability to customize the layout of webinar rooms to tailor to my audience.
  • Ability to add polls and Q&A.
  • Ability to have more than one host at any given time.
  • Recording a session isn't very straight forward.
  • Tech issues such as participant getting kicked out.
  • PowerPoint doesn't translate well through the Adobe Connect platform.
If you are presenting to a large audience that requires multiple break rooms, you will most likely get participants that get dropped. If you are just looking for an environment where you will just present to a large group of people, then this will work for you. In addition to this, if you are presenting with multiple presenters, Adobe Connect will give you a seamless way to transfer ownership to whoever is presenting at any given time.

Adobe Connect is pretty useful to organize meetings, trainings and seminars. Actually it is so easy setting up. We use this application to stay in touch with each other and talk with each other. It is used by a single department (CX consultants), in order to offer trainings and coaching. It works as a virtual classroom and it gets straight to the point.
  • the app makes easy to deliver coaching and courses
  • intuitive menu
  • files and link sharing features
  • some bugs and lags
  • no virtual backgrounds
  • video quality (especially compared to other vendors)
I don't recommend Adobe Connect. I am sorry, but it is not the best on market. Screen share is slow, the app is unstable, which it doesn't happen often, but you don't need a bug (e.g. mic issue) in the middle of a coaching. Very annoying and frustrating. Also, awful UI. I mean, it will simplify your job, but the cons are much more than the pros.

A decent product for online training of new staff. Screen share feature is good. You can share documents as well as links. There is an option to access multiple chats and also take polls. Whiteboard feature also comes a lot in handy. You can also have a control over the screen layout for other viewers.
  • Online training.
  • Polls or questionnaires.
  • Sharing documents and links on the go.
  • Can’t set a virtual background.
  • No option to call the ones attending.
  • Troubleshooting can be improved.
Firstly this is a free software so you can basically use it for online trainings or meetings and save money instead of buying some costly products. It provides most of the basic features and since it’s a free software don’t expect too much. You have options to share documents and links with other participants however some features are lacking. Also there are lot of bugs sometimes.

We started using Adobe Connect when it was Macromedia Breeze as an on-prem solution 15+ years ago. We stopped using it in favor of Webex, but other units on campus chose Adobe Connect a few years ago. This is a departmental decision and not across the whole organization.
  • Flexibility to move pods around the screen
  • Outdated interface
  • Not as robust as other more modern solutions such as Webex and Zoom
  • Feels very sluggish on users' computers
There are better solutions available on the market right now. While Adobe Connect has been around for a while, it seems as if their innovation was frozen from about 8 years ago and not many significant changes/upgrades have been made as compared to some of their other competitors in this space.

We use Adobe Connect in the classroom and for meeting purposes. It allows us to meet virtually with stakeholders and with consultants when needed.
  • Adobe Connect offers the same features you find with WebEx, but seems more professional.
  • I love the chat feature which allows for questions without interrupting the presenter.
  • I also love the screen sharing/presentation feature which allows the opportunity to present in a clear and concise way
  • It is not as user friendly as zoom and other virtual meeting tools
  • I’ve had techincal issues with sound

Adobe Connect is being used for virtual conferencing, teleconferencing, and meeting/interviewing purposes. It is being used only in certain parts of the organization, but not the entire organization. Other departments and teams use other platforms. The business problem being solved is being able to connect and collaborate with other employees and customers, especially now more than ever since we're all remote. It also has other capabilities to troubleshoot or work out business issues and leveraging that type of technology.
  • The user interface and controls and commands are fairly intuitive. Even if audio or video isn't working, you can usually figure it out within a minute or two.
  • It functions well and seems to transition from feature to feature or capability to another capability. Doesn't seem clunky at all, but is clean.
  • Other capabilities instead of just audio and video is present too, but they haven't been fully explored or leveraged yet.
  • The overall connection and lag sometimes are disruptive. This may not be due to the platform as a whole, connectivity, and strength of the signal is probably a factor but it can get glitchy sometimes.
  • More features for remote desktop options, whiteboarding, or screen sharing to actively resolve issues would be great while collaborating.
  • Online support or forums to help assist with issues aren't as prevalent as you think they'd be. More individual resources to assist with issues would be helpful.
Adobe Connect is well suited for virtual conferencing for small groups of people or where actively sharing desktops or whiteboarding is not needed. Being in HR, using this for interviews and screening calls, it has proven to be useful. It may be less appropriate for large remote meetings where things could crash or bandwidth is really limited. Or if you really need a robust platform with tons of features and functionality.

  • I would like to see in the tool, remote access feature, for support, like Team Viewer. That would replace the tool in that too.

Our organization is using Connect to deliver live online, instructor-led courses that allow students to take our ISO requirements and auditor training from anywhere. It helps us deliver more training courses to a larger audience while saving cost and time for both our company and the many students we deliver to. Our catalog of courses offered has grown significantly over the years we have used this platform.
  • The ability to customize your screen layouts. making each classroom unique.
  • Bandwidth and connectivity. Many other webinar platforms have limitations of how many users can attend with cameras. Adobe has no limit on how many users can join a meeting and stream live an HD quality camera. This feature makes the platform a true virtual classroom.
  • Low cost. The pricing for a license is surprisingly affordable. Adobe has demonstrated great customer support as well. they offer other services - like having a tech expert available to assist with new users having any type of issues.
  • There are some connectivity drops. This results in users having to log out and log back in. that generally solves it but multiple instances can lead to frustration.
  • A smoother interface would be a nice enhancement. maybe some of the windows could be hidden and brought up as hover over windows.
  • The backend CMS is easy enough to manage after you have worked in it for a while but there are a lot of root folders depending on your setup and it can be slightly clunky to navigate to where all your materials and content is.
If you wish to deliver online training that generates a real classroom feel - Adobe is a great platform. Using other leading webinar platforms to pull this off feels like kind of a stretch. Adobe can upload documents, allow for collaboration and private breakout sessions. There are many features that can bring a true classroom feeling for students. We broke our course out into a week duration for a few hours a day. It is great to see our students take on the technology, understand the material and bond with the instructor and students as if they spent the week under the same roof.

Adobe Connect is being used to view webinars and virtual meetings. This service is primarily utilized by program staff. It definitely addresses the issue of needing to offer training or share information with large groups across a large area.
  • Train in real-time.
  • Connect nationally.
  • Can include attachments.
  • Limited settings.

I used Adobe Connect to conduct video training for non-profit work. It allowed the use of add-ins to display PowerPoint slides, and allow users to interact in discussion boards. I was able to design branding for multiple classroom types. I set up rooms with different features enabled such as timers, whiteboards, video playbacks (did not function well for all). There were conflicts sometimes based on the type of devices used to connect to the training. Some of the settings were not intuitive and I found the method for accessing recorded video to be a hassle. In order to download a training, you literally had to play the entire video from start to finish. Some of my workshops lasted 3 hours. This was very inconvenient.
  • Allows the use of third-party add-ins such as a timer, or user poll. Pretty easy to set up.
  • Love how you can set up multiple classrooms and create branding for each.
  • Convenient method for contacting participants. Provide templates for sending out notifications.
  • For some add-ins the functionality was limited - had problem with the PowerPoint slideshow feature. It did not always display properly as you progressed in slides.
  • Some of the features were not compatible with phones. For example, Some participants were using phones to participate in class and the features were not compatible. There was no way to test the feature compatibility with different platforms. You create something beautiful for your trainees and you are unable to use.
  • The price points were not very flexible. I had limited needs and I was paying a higher price tag than I should for what I needed. They should be more flexible with pricing based on features needed.
  • Downloading recordings was a HUGE pain in the neck. Most of the training conducted lasted 3 hours or more. I felt like I was being punished to have to play back the entire presentation to download the recording.
It is nice for projects where you don’t need a lot of bells and whistles. If you are doing a basic live training with a small number of participants, it is easy to manage. I also enjoyed having the ability to brand a classroom and create different setups. I would not recommend if you plan to reuse trainings because of the issue with downloading recordings. I also had issues figuring out how to set up access to live recordings beyond sending a link. I wanted to create a unique login for users but I did not find it easy to do. Also if you want users to view additional videos within the classroom and/or access other third-party features, it is hit or miss. I found it to be incompatible with devices beyond desktop/laptop computers. In addition, the price is a bit expensive for a product that is not as flexible as other products on the market that are cheaper.

Virtual meetings and trainings. It's been a much more effective platform than our previous one for online education.
  • We have been using Adobe Connect for several years, and so far everybody seems very happy with it.
  • I like it as a webinar platform as it has a nice mix of features
• From my perspective as a technical course developer, it is my hope was to use a software product that is intuitive, powerful and seamless for my eLearning courses. Adobe Connect delivered on all three. The Adobe Connect Library directory structure and file sharing options felt very familiar and were easy to navigate and deleting files/changing file names if I goofed up was a breeze. Being able to easily upload my PowerPoint/Presenter converted lessons saved me time and allowed me to share my work with other developers and instructors for review and testing simply by emailing the course link.
  • Personally, I like very much the fact that you can easily share your screen with others, or allow them to take control of yours. The tool is very intuitive, and this is proven by the fact that nobody ever needed any training on it.
  • At times there are issues using Adobe Connect with different browsers, like Chrome. I hope that Adobe Connect has plans to update its software to be more compatible with this and other browsers, especially for students who use Apple computers and don't use Internet Explorer. Different user settings can also make it difficult to hear when people speak via their microphones.
  • The only drawback came with co-teaching some distance education sessions. Both participants had to be in the same room and it got a little clunky at times. It would be nice if there was a way to set up a private window between presenters to exchange notes during a session.
If looking for a standard 100 seat license, the service is affordable. Additional licenses in the past were obscenely priced and does limit our outreach. Adobe Connect has been a very useful tool for communicating with the ability to share presentation material to a wide audience.

In my organization, we use Adobe Connect on a daily basis to ensure immediate communications between consultants and managers (Team Leaders). The ability to connect one on one, go to a breakout, share information, and get immediate assistance when assisting customers is vital in today's virtual world. Used in various departments and with various vendors within my organization, Adobe Connect solves problems by allowing employees to receive answers as soon as they are posted in the room. If we have an issue that requires a Manager to view our screen, etc., this can be done in the current room, or Managers may choose to move to new rooms giving one-on-one assistance. In addition, file sharing and polls help the employee respond to questions as a whole, or individually based upon the needs of the managers. Adobe Connect also solves the problem of communication in a business by not limiting interactions to the typed word, but also allows for attendees and hosts to communicate by calling into a phone number with a passcode for one, or multiple employees to access the room and bridge; thus, allowing vocal communication if needed. This can be limited by the hosts.
  • Immediate communication within a secure environment between the host, or hosts, and attendees is a major benefit of Adobe Connect.
  • The ability to screen share is second to none and can be done immediately in the current session, or if the host pulls an attendee, or attendees, to a Break Out.
  • File sharing when those important files come through that require notification to a group as a whole is also something Adobe Connect does well.
  • Finally, the ability to post polls, create a white board for interaction with employees, and other items are just some of the benefits of Adobe Connect
  • The one major issue I have experienced with Adobe Connect is the lag or "boot" when there are too many people present. When attendees reached the maximum amount, I see a huge lag when moving to a Break Out, an unresponsive or frozen room, or one may get what we term "booted". This is very frustrating for employees when time is of the essence.Opening up the parameters a bit on attendees to prevent these issues would be greatly appreciated.
  • Color. Color. Color. Although you are in a working environment, color is appreciate, but limited when creating pods to discuss or post items. The background is very drab and has no "pop" to it. Employees may see items differently if the pods background was something other than gray.
  • Videos. Videos tend to have a lag as well when doing real-time face to face discussion. There seems to be a pixelation issue that has been occurring for years now when viewing videos.
If communicating with 30-90 agents in the virtual world, Adobe Connect definitely allows for the communication in a simplified environment. For example, f you have 30 agents taking calls, this program offers a way for agents to communicate. If questions are needed answered, the hosts have the ability to pose those questions and get answers from the group. In a smaller group, this may be a bit of overkill and may not be needed. Large groups of 75-100 would create and environment that is less appropriate as there are to many people asking questions and not receiving answers. This amount of people in one room may get lost in the confusion.

Adobe Connect is used for recorded meetings of individuals who are in all parts of the country at the time of the meeting. We also use it to store recorded webinars that we can link viewers too. It supports the regular meetings of the Executive Board, provides recordings for minutes, and allows us to host Live Webinars or archive webinars for distribution.
  • Provides a recorded archive of meetings and training webinars. This fact is important as we need a record of the events and redistribute archived training.
  • Allows many participants to attend the Live Webinars or meetings without issue. As the number of participants is not the same each time, having the ability to invite as many as possible is a real plus.
  • Provides a log in the email with a link and connection information for people to join the meeting or webinar. This step is important as without it, people could not actually enjoy the benefits of the meeting or webinar.
  • Although it is a necessity to have the login email information shared with participants, we have had occasions when the link did not work properly or--more often--the Meeting ID did not allow the participant to enter the meeting room. As this is an issue that is only discovered at the meeting time (you cannot "try it" before the meeting time), it is problematic when it does not work.
  • Adobe Connect does not have the ability to SHARE SCREENS. There is one presenter who can put up documents for the participants to view, but there is no ability to change the Presenter so that multiple screens could be shared. In a roundtable discussion, it would be helpful if different people could share or trade control during the same meeting.
  • There is no ability to see the participants. Although I am sometimes in my lounge clothes when I attend an Adobe Connect meeting, face-to-face contact is helpful for engaging with an audience or for nonverbal communication. Although I think each participant should have control over the ability to use or not use video, I think it should be an option.
Adobe is a solid platform for a one-way presentation with one presenter sharing information to many others. There is an option for computer audio, or dial in by phone--a feature that I have used repeatedly when I was ON THE GO but needed to attend a meeting. Adobe has a recording function which is perfect for archiving minutes or discussions or saving training sessions that we redistribute later.

Adobe has allowed us to keep our training headcount limited while still providing training to individuals around the country. Adobe allows a team of 8 to support 200+ individuals on each new hire week, in 50+ offices in 36 states. Adobe being used for training has also allowed us to refocus some other individuals away from training and into other projects because of the reach the program now allows us to have.

The product allows us to provide live customer-facing demonstrations of new technology. We're able to send a quick link and easily screencast and conference with customers across the country.
  • All of my Adobe presentations look extremely professional. The ability to import files that I've created in other programs allows me to utilize different design tools and bring their best elements with me.
  • Breakout rooms are excellent for taking a large class and separating them into smaller groups where they can collaborate and then come back to the large group experience. This is vital for us in building a virtual learning space that people are actively engaged in.
  • Simple interface for starting cameras and microphones. We've used some other products that needed their own manual for turning on a webcam. This is a simple click and even provides a preview before anything goes live. This is in addition to a splash screen when you enter a meeting that will walk all new users through the process, saving the presenters time.
  • Our biggest complaint is always the lag in VoIP conferencing. It seems to fluctuate, but we can have as much as 5-7 seconds of delay at times. This can be a quick way to stifle any discussion that might be taking place. This ends up with a lot of people talking over one another.
  • First-time users sometimes have issues getting the program to open. There is an initial download to get the meeting rooms open and if it doesn't happen automatically, we need to instruct users to try and rejoin the meeting. This isn't a difficult step, but it can prove to be annoying when working with 30-50 new users at one time.
Figure out if you're looking for a conferencing tool or a training tool. If the primary purpose is going to be for web meetings, then I would likely look elsewhere. There is better standalone conferencing software. If you're trying to upgrade your training platform, this is a great option. They offer an abundance of tools that make this a viable option for those who will be presenting without producers as well.

Our team is located in 3 different cities. So it mainly helps us to have virtual meetings together and make sure that everyone sees content that we want to discuss.
  • I like the many options the program offers such as chatbox, share screen, record meetings (to generate on-demand content for those who cannot attend a meeting).
  • The quality (resolution) of webcam and screen share is very poor, other programs such as Workplace have a better webcam resolution
  • Live streaming has a lot of lag (this might be a network issue)
- hosting remote meeting
- generating simple on-demand content
